Nestled between vineyards and the sea, with views to Cape Kidnappers, this unit is fully self-contained to enable your autonomy and privacy.
oneOrange2 is sited on the property of owners Robbie Greenslade and architect husband Michael Parkin. Having successfully built and hosted the unique ‘oneOrange’ in Gisborne, the couple has captured their special sense of hospitality and style with the opening of their new venture ‘oneOrange2’ in Hawke’s Bay.
Not only do you have a cool place to stay, but there are some special treats in store – while you are set up to self cater, we provide oneOrange2 home made muesli, breads and spreads, real coffee, tea, milk and yoghurt.
For foodies – Robbie is an accomplished home cook, and given enough time and encouragement, she will work up a three-course dinner with wines to match, to be enjoyed with her and Michael ...and if you ‘dig’ fresh home grown treats, the couple’s prolific garden is for guests to plunder. Depending on the season there are oranges, grapefruit, herbs and olives along with fresh greens and other garden produce.
Amenities
Because we love staying special places ourselves, we’ve thought about what is going to make oneOrange2 a place you will rave about – Kingsize bed (can be split into two singles) scrummy linen, real wine glasses, bbq, bathrobes, sound system, flat screen TV and (yawn) yep even free Wi-Fi if you HAVE to work – although we reckon you’ll just want to chill out and enjoy the space.
If you find it a little challenging to climb stairs or get through doors, don’t worry - oneOrange2 is fully accessible and wheelchair friendly.
For groups, additional rooms (single or double) in the main house are available.
The luxurious salt water pool is kept at a temperate 24 degrees, for a refreshing pre or post ride dip.
